Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee daily on-site operations, manage subcontractors, and keep projects safe, on schedule, and within budget.

You will enforce codes, review drawings, lead toolbox talks, coordinate site activities, and act as the primary on-site leader from start to closeout.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential; OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain) and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and job-site personnel
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily on-site construction activities
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, labor, and materials
• Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and local building codes
• Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and productivity
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and manpower tracking
• Review drawings, RFIs, and change orders
