Job summary

Omega Builders is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join the on-site construction team in Texas. This role supports lean construction practices across multiple new home sites and collaborates with a range of subcontractors and vendors to uphold Omega’s standards of quality and schedule.

Under the supervision of the Superintendent, you will coordinate subcontractors, material, and inspections, ensure safety compliance, and drive quality from initial groundwork to homeowner orientation and

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and time management skills.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, plans, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing the construction of multiple home sites under lean principles.
• Develops and maintains great working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Communicates Omega’s quality and performance standards to contractors and vendors.
• Schedules subcontractors, vendors and inspectors to ensure timely completion.
• Performs quality control duties for the work being performed.
• Maintains a safe work site by enforcing housekeeping and safety regulations.
• Keeps up to date knowledge of required building codes.
• Conducts New Home Orientation with homeowners prior to closing.
• Ensures all punch list items are completed prior to closing.
• Achieves high quality end products and homeowner satisfaction through resource management.
