Job summary

2 Hour Learning is hiring a Construction Project Lead who will oversee on-site sequencing, coordinate contractors, and drive schedules across multiple builds in the U.S. You will use AI-enabled tools to speed planning, document progress, and recover from delays.

This full-time, on-site role requires traveling up to 60% nationwide, coordinating permits, and enforcing timelines with vendors. You’ll report directly to the project leadership and help scale a national microschool network.

Qualifications

• Direct experience coordinating U.S. construction projects
• Experience owning a project timeline and recovering from delays
• Proficiency with Procore, Asana, or MS Project
• Experience making construction trade-sequencing decisions
• Direct involvement in U.S. permitting workflows
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to accelerate planning or documentation
• Strong problem-solving in ambiguous construction scenarios
• Willingness to work on-site at least 3 days/week and travel ~60%
• Located in the U.S. and authorized to work without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site construction activities with contractors to ensure correct sequence and schedule
• Own and enforce project timelines, track milestones, identify risks early, and drive corrective actions
• Use Procore, Asana, or MS Project to manage tasks, documentation, and progress across active builds
• Support permitting workflows by tracking submissions and coordinating with stakeholders to move approvals forward
• Apply AI tools to accelerate planning, documentation, and decision-making
