Job summary

Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. is seeking Construction Inspectors at multiple levels in the United States.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple projects within a team. The role involves daily on-site inspection of roadway, drainage, paving, foundations, ADA curb ramps, and traffic signal inspections; documenting observations; measuring quantities for payment; and preparing as-built drawings

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction inspection.
NICET Certification: I-IV preferred; ACI/NJSAT/TCC/CCTC also valued.
EIT or B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid Driver’s License; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Provide daily inspection of construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
Document on-site observations in daily inspection reports and other records.
Measure and record quantities for payment.
Prepare as-built drawings.
Serve as on-site project representative.
