Job summary

Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. Career Center is seeking Construction Inspectors at multiple levels with a minimum of 3 years of field experience.

NICET certification is preferred and a strong work ethic with the ability to collaborate on several projects is essential. Ideal candidates will have ADEQUATE knowledge of roadway earthwork, drainage, paving, bridge elements, and ADA compliance inspections, along with solid communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of construction inspection experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily inspection of construction work within a given discipline to ensure the project complies with plans and specifications.
• Document all on-site observations of construction progress, equipment, manpower, and materials on a Daily Inspection Report and various other reports required.
• Measure and record quantities for payment.
• Prepare as-built drawing.
• Serving as on-site project representative.
