Job summary

MTW Employment Services is seeking a construction labourer to load/unload and transport materials at various sites. You will erect and dismantle forms, scaffolding, ramps and barricades, plus mix and lay concrete and asphalt.

The role requires working at the physical locations with 7 months to under 1 year of experience and without remote work options. Steel-toed boots, safety glasses and gloves are expected as personal gear.

Qualifications

• Must have completed secondary education.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of construction experience.
• Position requires on-site work with physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
