Ghafari Associates seeks a Construction Field Representative/Field Engineer to inspect, monitor, and document on-site work across facility projects from construction through post-construction to ensure alignment with plans and schedules. This on-site role is based in Lake Orion, Michigan, with potential weekend work to support project needs.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor's in Architecture or Engineering and may have professional registration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering field preferred or related work experience.
• Professional registration preferred.
• Candidates with Mechanical or Electrical engineering background preferred.
• 5 years of experience with construction and the administration of construction contracts.
• LEED training preferred.
• ADA training preferred.
• Safety training preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve as liaison between the contractor, architect and engineers.
• Review, comment, and approve construction documents and shop submittals.
• Review, comment, and approve RFIs.
• Provide field checks and investigations as requested by office team.
• Gather site photos during and after project completion.
• Attend construction meetings on behalf of AE Team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
