Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc. is seeking a Construction Cost Accountant for an on-site finance role. You will apply accounting principles to compile, depict, and process project data, and provide financial insight for forecasting and reporting.

The position requires 3+ years of construction accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree. CMIC and MS Office familiarity are preferred; heavy/civil construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience in heavy/civil construction is a plus.
• Familiar with CMIC and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles to compile, depict, and process information for projects.
• Assist in generating financial forecasts including project revenue, margin, and cash flow.
• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements and accounting reports.
• Enter journal entries and assist in monthly close of the general ledger.
• Maintain data accuracy and document transactions; support ad-hoc financial reporting.
