Job summary

Joeris General Contractors, LLC. seeks an on-site Coordinator to support the superintendent and project team with day-to-day field coordination. You will build relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers, and assist in scheduling, deliveries, and cost tracking.

The role emphasizes maintaining daily reports, shop drawings review, safety practices, and coordination of inspections and utilities to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; Confined Space Awareness, Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR/AED certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent and project team with on-site coordination.
• Develop and manage relationships with clients, architects, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist in scheduling and coordination of Subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Report accidents to Safety Team in a timely manner.
• Notify the Superintendent of labor and material needs.
• Keep daily time records of hours worked.
• Assist in coding materials to proper cost centers.
• Create and maintain daily job reports.
• Review shop drawings for contract conformance, field dimensions, etc.
• Maintain jobsite “record set” drawings.
• Take and maintain jobsite progress photographs.
• Assist in obtaining and tracking all necessary city inspections.
• Assist in obtaining and terminating all temporary utilities requests.
• Prepare all jobsite meetings to include scheduling, coordination, and agenda creation.
• Complete all punch list items.
• Perform weekly review of job costs.
• Maintain quality control.
• Tool and equipment maintenance management.
• Assist project team as required.
• Complete training requirements as assigned.
