Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead CM for developmental and operational systems at the National Digital Exploitation & OSINT Center (NDOC) at the Intelligence Community Campus in Bethesda. You will establish configuration baselines, implement CM tools and policies, and perform change control and audits across the system lifecycle.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of IT/CM experience (or a master’s with 2+ years), TS/SCI clearance required, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Masters degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Several years of experience in IT or related field
• Knowledge of version control concepts and best practices
• Familiarity with ITIL practices related to configuration management
• Experience managing hardware and software configuration baselines
• Familiarity with Risk and Issue Management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail; track record of teamwork
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong oral and written communications skills

Responsibilities

• Develop configuration management planning documents and procedures.
• Track system changes identified by the team.
• Track licenses and license usage for software and hardware.
• Perform inventory and track management of hardware and software.
• Develop and track schedules for software release management.
• Provide reports on hardware/software usage.
• Manage the change control process and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Track and report status of configuration items throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain documentation for all configuration items and CM activities.
• Create and maintain SOPs for CM processes.
• Develop and maintain an IPAM system with teammates.
• Identify and mitigate CM risks impacting timelines or quality.
• Facilitate communication between project teams and CM teams.
• Provide training on CM processes, tools, and best practices.
• Develop a knowledge base on system changes and outages.
• Implement process improvement responses.
• Maintain a centralized repository for project documents.
• Create briefings on project status and milestones.
• Conduct regular configuration audits.
