Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Configuration Manager to support the NDOC. This role focuses on CM of development and operational systems, creating baselines, implementing CM policies, and conducting audits.

On-site at the Bethesda customer site, you will work with development and operations teams to enforce CM discipline across the system life cycle. Responsibilities include tracking changes, licenses, and hardware/software assets; developing procedures; and coordinating with stakeholders to minimize

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Masters degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Several years of IT experience.
• Knowledge of version control concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices related to configuration management.
• Experience managing hardware and software configuration baselines.
• Familiarity with Risk and Issue Management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CM planning documentation and procedures.
• Track system changes and licenses across the environment.
• Manage change control processes and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maintain configuration baselines for development and operations.
• Create and manage CMDB records and IPAM system tasks.
• Conduct configuration audits and maintain documentation.
• Provide training on CM processes and tools.
