Job summary

Chief Seattle Club seeks a Support Assistant to work on-site at Goldfinch Apartments, partnering with case managers to support residents and wrap-around services. You will help maintain safe, healthy housing, perform daily inspections, manage operations, and contribute to trauma-informed care across a trauma-informed housing program.

The role requires strong computer skills, organization, and the ability to multitask in a community-facing setting with Indigenous populations.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma required.
• Highly organized, flexible, independent, culturally sensitive, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Proficient in MS Office 365.
• Must possess great oral and written skills.
• High degree of discretion and excellent judgment.
• One year working in high-risk/at-risk populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe and healthy community every day by getting to know member residents and supporting positive socialization with other residents and staff.
• Conduct yourself with trauma-informed care and utmost respect.
• Monitor cameras to ensure safety of building.
• Conduct daily building inspections and report damages to artwork, carpets, windows, and other areas.
• Befriend residents and manage guest sign-in.
• Ensure ongoing site operations, including chores, grounds care, scheduling, and safety procedures.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and communicate needs to command.
• Conduct daily inspections and track completion of tasks.
• Attend community events and staff meetings.
• Sort and organize donations and supervise resident activities.
• Aid case managers and Housing Stability Specialists.
• Enforce policies and procedures per CSC guidelines.
• Provide office support and daily cleaning tasks.
• Instruct residents and answer questions; enforce consequences when needed.
• Support resident safety, participate in safety trainings and meetings.
