Job summary

NC America is seeking a Community Manager to own our growing gaming community in Irvine, CA. You will create and manage content across social channels and Discord, engaging players and shaping the community around anime-inspired games.

You will build relationships with players, creators, and influencers, analyze engagement data, and collaborate with publishing, marketing, and game teams to drive retention and sentiment. This is an on-site, full-time role with travel possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Community Management or similar role, preferably in video games.
• Experience developing/executing content strategy across social media and web platforms.
• Travel may be required (domestic and international).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute social and community engagement initiatives across channels including social media and Discord.
• Build and manage relationships with players, creators, fan artists, and influencers.
• Write engaging content to promote game updates, events, campaigns, and activities.
• Develop and run engagement initiatives to increase user participation and retention.
• Monitor sentiment and trends; provide analysis to inform publishing and development decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and improve engagement.
• Moderate and address community concerns professionally with a player-first mindset.
