Job summary

33 USA Inc. seeks a Community Management Manager to build and lead its new Community Management service for North America, running official Discord servers and Reddit communities for Japanese anime, manga, and game IPs.

You will design community structure, rules, moderation policies, and engagement programs, supervise contractors and moderators, and coordinate with US and Japan teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality fan experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, launching, and operating official Discord servers and Reddit communities.
• Proven track record building multiple communities from zero to scale.
• Experience leading teams of contractors or moderators and setting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead from strategy through launch and ongoing operation of official Discord and Reddit communities.
• Design community structure, rules, governance, and KPIs with client reporting.
• Build and manage an operations team; create playbooks, SOPs, and escalation flows.
• Collaborate with US and JP teams to align IP marketing and fandom strategies.
