Job summary

33 USA Inc. seeks a Community Management Manager to lead the design and operation of official Discord and Reddit communities for North American anime/manga/game IPs.

You will establish rules, governance, and engagement programs, building a scalable operations model with contractors and moderators while reporting to the CEO. Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience designing, launching, and operating Discord servers and Reddit communities for brands/IPs (required).
• Track record of launching multiple official communities from scratch and operating them long-term (required).
• Experience with agency-side or in-house Discord/Reddit operations for game clients (required; strongest weight on (a)).
• Experience establishing community rules, moderation policies, and escalation flows (required).
• Experience building a moderator/contractor team with training and quality control (required).
• Deep understanding of Discord and Reddit mechanics and tooling (required).
• Experience designing KPIs and delivering data-based reporting (required).
• Native-level English for public-facing communication and client reporting (required).
• Ability to work autonomously as a founding member of a new service line (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and launch of 33 USA's Community Management service and playbooks.
• Oversee day-to-day moderation, incident response, and safety controls across multiple communities.
• Build and manage an operations team of contractors and part-time moderators.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and escalation flows for repeatable operations.
• Plan and execute engagement programs to drive fan participation and interaction.
• Serve as the client-facing SME and align with Japan-US collaboration teams.
