Journey Bank is hiring a Full-Time Community Banking Associate to work on-site at our Berwick Market Street Office. You will greet customers, handle deposits and payments, and promote bank products while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; banking education or training preferred.
• Previous banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, grammar, and math skills.
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Accept deposits, cash checks and pay bills.
• Sell treasurer checks, money orders, and other bank products.
• Accept loan payments, safe deposit box rent, and other payments.
• Process night deposits and mail deposits.
• Identify new business opportunities and refer customers to appropriate staff.
• Follow internal policies and regulatory requirements (BSA/CRA/EOA) to ensure safety and compliance.
