The role focuses 70% on Technology Client PR & Community Relations and 30% on General Communications Support, requiring strong writing, judgment, and the ability to work in active construction environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field.
• 2–4 years’ experience in public relations, community relations, or public affairs, or corporate communications with public-facing responsibility.
• Experience in fast-paced B2B or professional services environment; construction/outreach experience valued.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written communication for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as embedded on-site communications and community relations resource for data center projects; visit jobsites to gauge activity and plan outreach.
• Coordinate communications around construction activities and routes; manage signage, traffic flow, and community impacts.
• Write and distribute community bulletins, construction alerts, and outreach materials.
• Build relationships with neighboring residents, community groups, and municipal stakeholders.
• Support community meetings, collect questions, and track follow-ups through resolution.
• Monitor local media and community forums to flag potential PR risks for escalation.
