RJH Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service, LLC. in the DC area seeks an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician for a long-term on-site role at a client location in McLean, VA. The position offers consistent hours, a stable work environment, and strong team support.

You will service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and other commercial cooking equipment, with opportunities to mentor an apprentice and grow with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial food service and refrigeration experience.
• EPA certification.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Experience with walk-in/reach-in refrigeration, ice machines, and commercial cooking equipment preferred.
• Journeyman License preferred.
• CFESA certification is a plus; training available for qualified candidates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide and use personal hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and food service equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Communicate repair findings clearly to customer.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records and mentor an apprentice as required.
