Job summary

TNT Heating & Air is seeking a dependable Commercial HVAC Maintenance Technician to support preventative maintenance across commercial facilities. You will perform inspections, tune-ups, and proactive service to keep systems operating at peak efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial HVAC maintenance or service experience.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required.
• Strong understanding of HVAC system operation and preventative maintenance practices.
• Experience with rooftop units, split systems, and programmable or digital controls.
• Ability to document work accurately and communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems (rooftop units, split systems, packaged units, VAV, heat pumps).
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components for proper operation and safety compliance.
• Evaluate motor belts, refrigerant charge, drains, and control functions during visits.
• Clean coils, replace filters, and tune systems to maintain efficiency.
• Record service details and recommendations in ServiceTitan or approved platforms.
• Communicate findings and potential improvements to clients and office staff.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and scheduling with dispatch.
