Job summary

Axiom seeks an experienced Commercial Counsel to support AI and connected applications initiatives. You will draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements with third-party providers, advise on data privacy and IP licensing, and collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to structure integrations.

Ideal candidates have a JD, 5+ years of experience in technology transactions, and strong knowledge of GDPR/CCPA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or technology transactions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with third-party technology providers.
• Provide guidance on technology integrations, including APIs, MCP, SDKs, and data flows.
• Advise on GDPR/CCPA compliance and data sharing with AI partners.
• Support IP licensing including software and content usage rights.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams to structure integration agreements.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial legal matters with minimal supervision.
• Deliver pragmatic risk-adjusted legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
