Responsibilities

• Prototype a control layer connecting AI agents to lab liquid handling systems.
• Develop Python-based solutions for intelligent automation workflows.
• Implement state-checking, observation, and decision-making between execution steps.
• Design testing mechanisms for issues like clogged tips or instrument misalignment and apply fixes.
• Build approval checkpoints for scientists to review plans and actions.
• Create guardrails, logs, and state-tracking for auditable AI-enabled systems.
• Support integration between instruments, APIs, SDKs, and automation platforms.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop automation solutions.
