Qualifications

Proven Python programming experience.
Exposure to AI/ML technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Prototype a control layer linking AI agents to lab liquid handling systems.
Develop Python-based solutions for intelligent automation workflows.
Implement state checks, observations, and decision logic between steps.
Design mechanisms to detect issues like clogged tips or misalignment and apply fixes.
Build approval checkpoints for scientist review before execution.
Create logging, state-tracking, and auditing for safe AI-enabled operation.
Support integration between instruments, APIs, SDKs, and automation platforms.
Collaborate with scientists and engineers to deliver automation solutions.
