Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year is required.
• Pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in relevant scientific/engineering disciplines.
• GPA 3.0+ reflective of coursework.
• No conflicting internship that overlaps with program dates.
• Programming experience including Python and software development.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on DOE sample sets with complex biological matrices.
• Analyze data from process sensors and spectroscopy (Raman/IR/NIR).
• Develop multivariate models using chemometrics and data science.
• Support development, testing, and validation of analytical models.
• Apply programming and data science to model building and visualization.
• Assist with integrating PAT into operations.
• Perform statistical analyses to extract actionable insights.
• Gain hands-on experience with PAT instrumentation and bioprocess data.
• Document methods, models, and results, and communicate findings.
