Job summary

Valiance Capital LLC seeks a Community Assistant – Co-Living to support resident services and operations at the UC Berkeley housing program. As the on-site representative, you help maintain the house, welcome residents, coordinate events, and ensure a tour-ready environment that supports leasing goals.

This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to property management, turnover, safety processes, and coordination with marketing, leasing, and facilities teams to foster a welcoming community

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level role ideal for gaining experience in property management.
• Strong communication and customer service oriented approach preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common areas and ensure house is tour-ready.
• Plan and support resident events to strengthen community.
• Serve as point of contact for residents and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist with turnover, move-in/out, and coordination with vendors.
• Support leasing team with renewals and showings as required.
• Attend staff meetings and assist administrative tasks.
