Job summary

Centricity is seeking a Community Assistant – Co-Living to support UC Berkeley student housing operations on-site. You will act as the primary on-site representative for an assigned house, ensuring upkeep, organization, and a welcoming environment that supports renewals and a positive community culture.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in property management, real estate, or student housing operations while collaborating with Marketing, Leasing, and Facilities teams.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role in property management or student housing operations.
• On-site role serving UC Berkeley students.
• Strong customer service and organization skills are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walkthroughs of the assigned house to monitor cleanliness and organization.
• Audit, organize, and replenish house supplies and submit restock requests.
• Perform light cleaning of common areas as needed to maintain standards.
• Identify maintenance issues and submit work orders to the Resident Services Manager.
• Ensure spaces are presentable and welcoming for residents and tours.
• Plan and host resident events to foster community and engagement.
• Serve as a primary contact for residents and address routine concerns.
• Support leasing activities by keeping spaces tour-ready and assisting during renewals.
• Assist with turnover activities including move-ins/outs and room readiness.
