Job summary

Salvagnini America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer/Technician to maintain and repair advanced CNC sheet-metal processing equipment at customer facilities in the United States.

You will serve as the primary technical representative, working independently and with teams to restore performance and minimize downtime. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, interpreting schematics, and training customer personnel.

Qualifications

• Requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience servicing CNC machinery and industrial automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and automation problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, evaluations, calibrations, and upgrades.
• Read schematics and installation documents and use diagnostic tools.
• Train customer personnel on safe operation and maintenance.
