Job summary

Salvagnini America, Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer/Technician to maintain and repair advanced CNC sheet-metal equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose complex problems, perform preventive maintenance, and implement upgrades to minimize downtime.

You will read schematics, operate diagnostic tools, and ensure safety and quality in every service call, while delivering professional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in mechatronics, electronics, or industrial maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
• Experience servicing CNC machinery and industrial automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, software, and network problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment upgrades.
• Read electrical/mechanical diagrams and installation documentation accurately.
• Use diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify issues and verify repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, CNC controls, and industrial networks; adjust servo drives and motors.
• Train customer personnel on safe operation and maintenance practices.
