Job summary

Salvagnini America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer/Technician to maintain and repair advanced CNC sheet-metal processing equipment at customer sites in the US. You will diagnose complex problems and perform preventive maintenance while serving as the primary technical representative on-site.

Travel is extensive, with overnight stays and occasional international assignments. The role requires strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and the ability to explain findings clearly to

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree is beneficial but not required.
• Experience servicing CNC machinery and industrial automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in CNC machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and upgrades.
• Read electrical/mechanical schematics and diagrams.
• Train customer personnel on safe operation and maintenance.
• Document service actions, parts used, and test results.

Education

Associate degree in mechatronics or electronics

Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical/mechatronics (beneficial)
