Job summary

Proactive MD is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care at our on-site health center. The RN will support the provider, perform patient assessments, and help ensure patient comfort and safety within the Patient Promise framework.

The role focuses on vital signs, charting, procedure assistance, health counseling, medication reconciliation, and maintaining clinical supplies while adhering to OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• RN with a current nursing license in state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• 1+ year of clinic nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association valid for at least 90 days after start date
• Confident in venipuncture skills
• Certified or willing to get certified in CAOHC and NIOSH PFT prior to first day
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as state, federal requirements

Responsibilities

• Provides complete patient assessment, including vital signs and pre-examination procedures.
• Documents data and assessments in the patient record.
• Assists the providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Executing medical regimens and nursing interventions as appropriate for the setting and their competency.
• Patient health counseling and instruction, including meeting with families and caregivers.
• Medication reconciliation, management, patient compliance, inventory, education.
• Operating medical equipment.
• Maintaining medical supplies, inventory, and disposal.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelines.
