Job summary

Tutored by Teachers (TbT) is on a mission to advance equity in education. We seek a Ground Support Part Time Employee to help students log into the TbT platform and resolve tech issues in classrooms across Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate has classroom teaching experience, strong tech skills with Chromebooks and iPads, and can troubleshoot Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. You will work on-site, supporting students and teachers at multiple LAUSD sites during the school day.

Qualifications

• Prior classroom teaching experience is highly preferred.
• Strong tech skills with Chromebook and iPad troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently across multiple classrooms.
• Willingness to drive to multiple schools in LAUSD.
• Passion for education and helping students succeed.
• Available during the school day.

Responsibilities

• Assist students logging into the TbT platform.
• Troubleshoot platform setup and usage issues.
• Provide on-the-ground support to students and teachers.
• Collaborate with school staff on tech and classroom management.
• Report engagement updates to Engagement Managers.
• Ensure classroom devices are functional and ready.
