Job summary

The Florida Department of Corrections seeks a Senior Clerk-F/C in the Classification Department at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution in Milton, FL. You will manage inmate records, prepare documents, maintain data, handle communications, and deliver professional customer service.

This non-telework role requires reporting to the FDC office serving the area. You will input data, audit records, manage mail, and support the department’s operations with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Official transcripts required if selected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, memorandums, and essential forms.
• Maintain inmate files and conduct audits on new inmates.
• Input data into the CDC database and maintain classification documentation.
• Receive, date stamp, sort, and distribute mail; copy/scan/fax documents.
• Provide customer service by answering calls and assisting inmate families.
