Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled carpenter for on-site work in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires journeyman-level carpentry experience and the ability to read blueprints, construct structures, and safely manage tools and materials.

The candidate will erect and dismantle forms, install concrete reinforcing, and perform finish work as needed on industrial projects. Valid driver's license and NCCER credentials are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience (4 years) in carpentry or related craft.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret layouts.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or building plans to determine layout and material needs.
• Shape or cut materials using hand/power tools.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, safe worksite.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, and ramps.
• Operate forklift and move materials as needed.
• Maintain records and report progress.
• Prepare water and deliver to crafts or units.
• Replace doors, walls and stairs as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
