Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional civil engineering experience.
• Active Connecticut PE license or ability to obtain within one year.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams or multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong background in civil design, project management and technical oversight.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining client relationships.
• Experience in transportation, municipal, public infrastructure and CTDOT projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the civil engineering team, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Oversee planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects with focus on quality and timely delivery.
• Manage transportation, municipal infrastructure and public works projects from concept to completion.
• Provide technical guidance across design, permitting and construction administration.
• Build relationships with clients, municipalities, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, budgets and deliverables while upholding standards.
• Review engineering plans, reports, specs and documents.
• Partner with leadership to improve operations and identify new opportunities.
