Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Westlake office is seeking engineering graduates to join our team in 2027 for an on-site role. You will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel and other tools to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients on multiple civil projects.

You will contribute to pre-construction design, planning, permitting, and analysis, learning regulations and company practices while collaborating across disciplines to turn clients' visions into built environments.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required by Summer 2027.
• Majors listed include Civil/Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients’ visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and company practices.
• Learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and/or GIS.

Education

ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027
