Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking engineering graduates to join our Murfreesboro, TN office in 2027. This on-site role offers exposure to civil engineering design, permitting, and analysis across multiple projects.

You will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS to analyze and deliver client-ready results, supported by a collaborative cross-discipline team.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) anticipated by Summer 2027.
• Majors include Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
• Majors include Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering.
• Engineering Technology also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, and permitting for multiple projects.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Learn software programs specific to disciplines (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro and GIS).
