Battelle Memorial Institute is seeking a Natural or Applied Sciences Engineering Technician to support RDT&E efforts in Civil Engineering materials for AFCEC. The role is on-site at Tyndall Air Force Base near Panama City, FL, focusing on inorganic, organic and analytical chemistry, material science, and additive manufacturing.

The successful candidate will assist scientists in data analysis, technical reporting, and development of test plans for civil engineering materials development and

Competenze

• Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• May pursue various certifications or continuing educational units as needed.
• Exhibits sufficient technical knowledge to perform routine assignments.

Mansioni

• Assist scientists and engineers in biotechnology and environmental research and analysis including data analysis.
• Compile test data, prepare technical specifications, analyze data to determine limits and variables for product, process or materials specifications.
• Assist in interpretation of results and writing sections of technical reports.
• Complete assigned project work within schedule and budget constraints.
• Help develop technical specifications, analyze data, identify problems, and develop solutions.
• Help develop test plans and experimentation protocols, technology assessment studies, and conduct projects.
• Aid in design, planning, and execution of experiments related to civil engineering materials.
