Job summary

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Engineering Technician (Materials) to lead material processing troubleshooting for aircraft components and guide engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

Lead engineers and technicians in troubleshooting material processing for aircraft components.
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues with incomplete data.
Serve as senior technician for material failure analyses and investigations.
Develop and validate new test methods and repair procedures for aerospace materials where precedents are limited.
Use standard laboratory equipment for sample preparation and testing and ensure calibration of equipment.
