Confidential is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source, purchase, and manage raw materials, packaging, and MRO for a specialty chemical operation. You’ll own the daily purchasing cycle from requisition to invoice, building supplier relations and market knowledge to control costs and protect supply continuity.

Reporting to the President, you’ll partner with Operations, Lab, Accounting, and Sales to align material availability with production schedules, while maintaining compliance and quality

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2–5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Experience purchasing raw materials and packaging in batch or process manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems and Excel.
• Familiarity with SDS/regulatory requirements is a plus.

Mansioni

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and MRO.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels with vendors.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships for on‑time delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues with Operations and Lab.
• Manage POs, requisitions, and records in ERP; coordinate with AP.
• Analyze market trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
