Qualifications

• Certification required: CPC, CCS, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in billing/coding preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and payer rules.
• Must have experience with eClinical Works EMR.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Accurate medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
• Submit and follow up on insurance claims.
• Verify eligibility & benefits and resolve denials.
• Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts.
• Work A/R reports and maintain clean claim rate.
• Communicate with providers and staff for documentation support.
