Kreato Language Group LLC is seeking an Experienced On-Site English-Cape Verdean Creole Interpreter in Rhode Island. The role requires accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Cape Verdean Creole in medical and social settings, facilitating communication between providers and patients.

Candidates must meet education and health-safety requirements and pass a drug test and background check. Some travel and depend on location vaccination documentation may apply.

Qualifications

• Submission of an updated Resume.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations as required.
• Successful completion of a drug test and Background Check & Security Screen.
• Commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site consecutive interpretation.
• Follows Kreato Global policies and procedures related to confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and applicable regulations.
• Establishes quality service and positive interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and subject matter knowledge.
