Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience.
• Professional proficiency in English and Cape Verdean.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and Cape Verdean.
• Successful completion of language/proficiency evaluations and credentialing as required.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.
• Ability to reliably travel to onsite assignments and meet health/immunization requirements.
• Successful completion of background checks and security requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Cape Verdean at onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
