Job summary

The Summit at Queens College seeks a Community Manager to lead on-site housing operations in Flushing, NY. This full-time role requires strong leadership, fiscal oversight, and exceptional interpersonal skills to support staff and residents while ensuring a fiscally sound operation.

Housing is provided on-site for this in-person position. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you will supervise staff, manage budgets, drive marketing and leasing efforts, and coordinate facilities maintenance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in student housing at a college or university.
• Experience in facilities or asset management including operating and capital budgets.
• Supervision of full-time employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and housing management software.
• Ability to live on-site and serve on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all site operations including facilities maintenance and business operation.
• Develop and manage operating budget and long-term capital plan.
• Supervision of site staff and human resources functions.
• Plan and execute marketing and leasing activities.
• Manage residence life functions and community engagement.
• Serve as primary contact for campus clients.
