Job summary

Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics seeks a CAD Modifier for its Peoria fabrication team. The role uses CAD software to prepare and modify digital models for orthotic and prosthetic devices, with focus on ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs). Prior O&P fabrication exposure helps; CAD experience is valued.

On-site work in Peoria is required; you’ll review scans, adjust models, and coordinate with clinicians to ensure precise fabrication. Training and collaborative teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience using CAD or digital modeling software in work, education, or projects.
• O&P fabrication experience may substitute for CAD experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret measurements and instructions.
• Willingness to learn specialized software and device modification techniques.
• Clear communication and ability to work collaboratively on-site in Peoria.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify digital models using industry-specific CAD software, following clinician instructions and established fabrication procedures.
• Review scans, measurements, and work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Apply prescribed model modifications and check dimensions, contours, and anatomical landmarks within your training and assigned responsibilities.
• Communicate with clinicians and fabrication staff to clarify instructions and resolve questions before production.
• Prepare files for fabrication and maintain accurate records of modifications and revisions.
• Organize assigned cases, communicate progress, and meet production deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Follow company procedures for protecting patient information and handling digital files.
