Job summary

Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics is seeking a CAD Modifier to join the Peoria fabrication team. You will use industry CAD software to prepare and modify digital models for custom orthotic and prosthetic devices, with emphasis on ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs).

Candidates with O&P fabrication experience or CAD/digital modeling background are encouraged; on-site work in Peoria is required, with collaboration with clinicians and fabrication staff.

Qualifications

• Experience using CAD or digital modeling software through employment, education, training, or projects.
• O&P fabrication experience may be considered in place of CAD experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret measurements and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn specialized software and device modification techniques.
• Availability to work on-site in Peoria.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify digital models using CAD software, following clinician instructions and fabrication procedures.
• Review scans, measurements, and work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Apply prescribed model modifications and check dimensions, contours, and landmarks.
• Communicate with clinicians and fabrication staff to clarify instructions before production.
• Prepare files for fabrication and maintain records of modifications and revisions.
• Organize cases, track progress, and meet production deadlines while ensuring quality.
• Follow procedures for protecting patient information and handling digital files.
