Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking an On-site Buyer to work at a customer location, purchasing stock and non-stock items to meet price, quality, timing, and supply reliability standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing forecasts, placing POs, negotiating with vendors, and maintaining supplier relationships. Candidate should have 1+ years in procurement; a Bachelor's is preferred. This role may require working at a customer site with potential overtime and LEAN practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, etc.) preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in procurement preferred.
• CPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure products meeting price, quality, timing, and reliability standards.
• Review inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Negotiate with vendors and coordinate returns for aging/excess inventory.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and communicate order status to customers.
