Job summary

Convergint is seeking an Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to world-class service across projects in building automation.

You will handle engineering, programming, troubleshooting, start-up, and commissioning of installations, while upholding quality standards and delivering on-time, on-budget results. Frequent site visits and strong collaboration with customers are expected.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Preferred experience: Building Automation System and Fire Alarm.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient with MS Office; basic networking/IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the application engineering, programming, troubleshooting, start-up, and check-out of assigned installed projects including small to medium projects that are less complex.
• Work shall be in accordance with the established quality standards.
• Technical support contact for the customer and maximize customer satisfaction with installed Building Automation Systems.
• Ensure projects are executed to budgeted cost and time schedules.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
