Qualifications

• Must be proficient in QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping and financial concepts.
• Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately for data entry tasks.
• Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and budgeting procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and process journal entries using QuickBooks accounting software.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to verify balances.
• Prepare financial reports in accordance with GAAP (STATEMENTS of financial position and income statements).
• Support budgeting processes by tracking expenses and providing detailed analysis.
