The position runs Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm, on-site, with an anticipated start around September and a duration through early November. Responsibilities include reviewing mail-in ballots, organizing ballots, and handling election materials with care and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous office, administrative, warehouse, mailroom, or sorting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow established procedures.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Dependable and consistent in attendance and performance.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential election materials with professionalism.
• Structured, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and sort incoming mail-in ballots according to established procedures
• Assist with organizing and preparing ballots for processing
• Carefully handle election materials while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Follow detailed instructions, checklists, and established procedures throughout the ballot processing process
• Perform repetitive sorting and processing tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily processing needs
• Perform duties that require extended periods of sitting and/or standing
• May be required to lift, move, or organize boxes and other materials as needed
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive election materials and information
• Assist with other election-related administrative or processing tasks as assigned
