Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Avionics Technician to troubleshoot and repair avionics units and aircraft systems at the Millville, NJ facility. The role includes removal/installations, system evaluations, and collaboration with customers on projects.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (electronics/avionics training preferred) and 1+ year experience. A valid driver’s license or passport is advantageous. On-site, full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electronics or Avionics factory training is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
• 1+ years of experience on Avionics repair or installations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support items on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and evaluation of systems on the aircraft.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Aircraft movement and performance verification of systems.
• Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations.
• Work with customer in project management, pricing and customer support roles.
• Work independently on projects.
• Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
• Effectively and clearly communicate in English.
