Job summary

KVL Audio Visual Services is seeking an on-site AV technician in Cranston, RI to set up, operate, and strike AV systems for meetings, events and conferences. You will coordinate equipment logistics, perform checks, and support live events from pre-event testing through breakdown, ensuring reliable sound, projection, and video conferencing.

Role requires strong AV skills, ability to troubleshoot issues quickly, and excellent on-site customer service.

Qualifications

Strong AV support skills for meetings and events.
Knowledge of video conferencing platforms and equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot AV issues quickly during live events.
Clear communication and professional on-site customer service.
Basic understanding of signal flow, cabling, and networking hardware.
Willingness to work on-site, stand, lift, and work flexible hours.
Experience in event production or hospitality is beneficial; AV certifications a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional AV training preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and strike AV systems for meetings, events and conferences.
